Dynamic In December: Be Bold!
I know I’m not the only one who eyeballs that one piece of clothing that’s a bit unpractical and outlandish. For example one item I’m slightly obsessed with are sweaters with shoulder and arm cutouts. A sweater was created for warmth and yet they put large cutouts in the sleeves and shoulder.Yea a sweater with Swiss cheese sleeves is not very practical but really, really cute. I look at it like this, what’s essential to one person can be considered unpractical to another and vice versa it’s all about perspective.
I think it’s about time we stepped outside of the boxes of what’s considered staple pieces and looking into the more bold sides of fashion. This means partaking in prints, bright colors, sparkle, silhouettes, and different kinds of makeup. One thing you can do right now is determine you’re ready to step out of your comfort zone and into what you really want.
Make a pledge for boldness, and being seen fearlessly! Once you’ve decided that how you feel about yourself out weighs how others see you, take the next step. A few quotes are listed below hopefully they motivate you, they motivated me:
Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold.-Helen Keller
The bold adventurer succeeds the best.- Ovid
Leadership comes in small acts as well as bold strokes.-Carly Fiorina
The unforgivable crime is soft hitting. Do not hit at all if it can be avoided; but never hit softly.-Theodore Roosevelt
