Blogger Individuality

What makes you stand out as a blogger? What’s different about your particular way of blogging that is specifically different from other bloggers? Is it your blogger tone, word choice, length of blog posts, image usage, posting schedule? These are questions you need to ask yourself so you don’t get lost in the crowd.

It’s personally my worst nightmare to create a blog that fades in with the background, that my content can’t stimulate ideas because it’s all been done before. How do we keep this from happening? How do we keep ourselves stacked with standout ideas and making sure we differentiate ourselves from the crowd?

  1. Stop worrying about what other people are doing. When it comes down to it, there’s a specific difference from being inspired by a blog and copying it.

  2. Accept your own blogging journey as your own. We must embrace our natural originality, whether that means going against what’s popular right now or not.

  3. You can’t be afraid to try new things. Try writing different kinds of posts, it can be hard at times because we can catch ourselves falling into comfort zones. Comfort zones are bad and you have to stray away from them frequently if your want to be successful.

  4. Put more of yourself into your writing by putting yourself into the reader’s shoes. Cater to what you specifically want as a reader, especially seeing as how all readers are different.

  5. No more comparing your blog posts to that of others, your blog isn’t written by someone else it’s written by you!

  6. Embrace your natural knack for originality by being confident in what you do and confident in your ideas.

Hopefully these tips are enough to help you acknowledge that the issue isn’t specifically going out of your way to be different. Standing out is a natural occurrence that by embracing who you are, your individuality as a blogger will be seen and appreciated.
