Top Four Winter Approved Skirt Trends

It's winter time....still.It's flipping freezing outside, the cold is biting at our gams and toes like its hungry for our flesh. The brisk winds are beastly weapons made by the ultimate war lord, Mother Nature.I know it sounds extreme but this is coming from a young woman who had every intention of coming home without turning into an icicle after wearing her favorite skirt and legging combo, sadly I did not. My frustration boiled over into the creation of this blog post.Perhaps it wasn't an attack from Mother Nature, maybe I should of picked out a better winter proof look?I started to wonder what makes a skirt winter proof and narrowed it down to two qualities, length and texture.Below we have the top 4 ranking winter proof skirts to help you manage looking cute in the cold.

Top Four Winter Approved Skirt Trends

First off we have a classic trumpet hem penil skirt. We love this skirt for it's vintagd inspired structure and the color is rich and feminine. This skirt just says woman to me in the most seductive way possible, why not add on to the sexy with simple black, sheer blouse.
The second look is a lot more my speed, personally I love the 90s crushed velvet because the material is thick. In addition we'll keep playing with the look's texture with this fuzzy cropped sweater, that can easily be layered with a cardigan or jacket for added warmth.
The third look is minimalist and yet fun.Pairing this soft chunky sweater and tulle combo will keep you in layer heaven.Add some cable knit tights and you're ready for a showdown with the elements.
The last and certainly not least look wins because of ita length and fun baroque inspired print.I was obsessed with baroque last winter and this still hasn't changed. There's this older artistic element to the skirt that's so enchanting, I wanted it to stand out so we kept the blouse and heels a simple white color.
