The Feathered Frock of Celebration

Joan Smalls Fendi 2015 Spring/Summer
Looking like a bird of paradise has never been on my bucket list, but I've seen a few dresses that are certainly sparking my interest. Feathered dresses are full of texture and gives life to a look with every move you make.Don't worry about looking like a bird in this look, with the silhouette and added details in color I highly doubt you'll ever be confused for a bird (and if you do, then it's simply because you're just that fly).

The feathered look is festive and great for parties, I recently saw a shot of an Elie Saab feathered dress that I could picture being worn in New York city for the holidays. Imagine walking the streets in a pair of nude pumps with this dress on New Years Eve waiting for the ball to drop *swoons*.

Or could you imagine opting for something a lot more sexy and risque like this gown worn by the icon herself, Cher. This look has so much glit, glamour and to mention just how much bawdy it's serving! You'd leave in a look like this if you're trying to turn heads and reveal your inner goddess for the New Year.

Will you be wearing any feathered frocks for the holiday season?Tis the season to get no sleep and party like it's 1999, and what better way to celebrate than in a bold look? Leave a comment below about what you plan on celebrating in and what are your plans for the new year?
