Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint Review

I still remember the day Fenty Beauty debuted their Stunna Lip Paint. The liquid lipstick immediately went viral on social media and was on everyone's wishlist seconds after it was revealed. I can remember doing mental math to figure out if my bank account could stomach another Fenty purchase in such a short amount of time.

Luckily, I was gifted this lip paint and have been immensely grateful ever since. Typically, I'm not a huge fan of red lipstick. I prefer brown, plum or purple shades but for Rihanna I would be willing to try a red liquid lipstick. Don't get me wrong, I understood the appeal of going with red for a brand's first liquid lipstick shade. Red is classic, hot, powerful and looks good on a variety of skin tones.
I was excited to experiment with this shade of red and hoped the liquid lipstick lived up to the product's claims on the Fenty Beauty website. A bright red liquid lipstick in chic packaging that claimed to be "ONE-STROKE INTENSITY, 12HR MATTE WEAR. PERFECT UNIVERSAL RED: UNCENSORED. UNRIVALED PRECISION WAND." as it's said on the Fenty Beauty website here. I applied the Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint and was immediately taken by the  packaging and the precision wand.

The wand is kind of like a wide doe foot applicator and I just use the tip to line my lips and then apply the rest within the lines. The lipstick applies sooo smoothly and easily and all it takes is one swipe for full opacity of color. The pigmentation is perfect and the formula is light on the lips. Although the liquid lipstick does move a bit, after a 5 hour school day and a lunch of chicken tenders, the Stunna Lip Paint remained victorious.

The liquid lipstick was very comfortable on the lips but it did fall into the lines of my lips. I probably should of exfoliated or applied a chapstick beforehand so the liquid lipstick would look smoother. Altogether, Fenty Beauty has provided us a liquid lipstick that can rival most luxury brands at $24.
Have you tried Fenty Beauty, which is your favorite product from the brand?
